Default POD injectors on diesel mileage

I was just wondering what kind of effect POD injectors would have on my mileage? I get around 16-18 right now. Im considering purchasing them but i do allot of highway driving. will they be safe?

I ran POD's for a little bit and noticed not much of a change, but I drove the hell out the truck no matter what so take that for what it is worth. Probably the best mod for milage is a 1/8" timing bump.

x2 on the timing bump, a got another mpg or two, helped with the egt's too. i did notice the turbo is a little slower to light off. but over all the truck runs better

if you do your research you can find that much better injectors are found for the same money

I don't know about that. You can pick up POD's for about $350. Haven't came across any others for that good of a price.

i ended up giving close to 700 for my 100 horse pods after tax and shipping

I had PODs for a wile, did noticed a little drop off in milage. I agree w/ RS 1/8 timing bump, made big diff on my truck when i had the PODs. But do check out the other injector places befor you make a purchase, Better injectors can be had for just a little more coin.

Has anyone had any experience with the Lucas injectors? Are they any good?
