it will be fine. lowering your back pressure by straight piping your truck should lower egt's an make the turbo spool a little faster. an that in my book means th truck will run better
I ran a str8 on my first gen at did in fact lower my egt's when i did it about 4 months ago. I had quite a bit more power from takeoff to about 45 or so. i'd have alot more speed added but I don't have an O\D Tranny... :/
either get it custom made or order a 5" downpipe. it is tough to fit a 5" exhaust though, i cant do it on my truck unfortuneately dont have enough room
ya its in the chevy. if i could do it again i wouldve gone and bought a nice 24v truck and spent the rest of the money on mods. i got way too much money in that chevy
