Default nitrous to propane???

Ok my friend has a brand new nitrous kit for a gasser that he wants to sell to me. My question is could i use all of that stuff and just make a propane tank hook to it. If so how much should i run im my truck its a 91.5 intercooled, maxed pump, shaved fuel pin, 366 spring, and a straight pipe. It also has a 175000 miles on it. Thanks in advance guys!!!

I think you could just use the nitrous. RSWORDS is running it on his truck maybe he will have something when he gets home from work

What do you want to do with the truck? Why do you want to run nitrous?

You mean run a propane bottle with propane in it through the nitrous solinoid and nozzle? No... You need a regulator for propane. Just hook up the nitrous system and enjoy! Propane regulators go bad and you have a HUGE exlosion under the hood. Propane causes higer EGT's, Some get slower spool up, you also have to worry about detonation and increased timing due to a fuel being drawn into the engine vs injected. That is HELL on a head gasket.

The 2nd and 3rd run were on Nitrous... you can hear/see the difference....

Dry. No need to inject fuel. All you will do is cause pre-detinantion and it wont atomize clean enough anyway. Start small and work up till you see the smoke clear up. If it starts popping back it down a little.

I would get a fuel pressure gauge in there. You can get a tapped banjo bolt that goes on the line from the pump to the filter housing.
