Default racing mods?

right now i have a dennyt and 366 spring (not installed), still have my laggy h1c. I was wondering what you think it might take to get me into the 9s? (1/8 mile) I kinda aiming for being able to beat the mild programmed newer trucks (6.0 powerchokes and some of the dirtymaxs)

Im pretty sure im going with the he351cw and 7.3 intercooler swap (just gotta find the stuff). also considering some POD injectors (smoke and mileage is no longer a concern). how close do you think this will get me?im sure im still a ways away.

any changes to this list or other advice is welcome.

assuming you have an intercooled truck id recommend to get different injectors than pods. you can safely add more timing with an injector with the correct 145* spray angle, and with more timing you can/should see more top end power.

I've chatted with Jason Sands and I'm gonna do 7x.014 *148 spray angle injectors, with a 14mm Scheid Pump, Banks twin intake, high volume lift pump, compound turbo setup with a HX35 over a HX55, spray meth, equal length header, I already have an aftermarket 900 GPH fuel filter installed on my truck, doubtful I will put Nitrous on this truck but prolly on my drag race 1st Gen, bigger intercooler, maybe a bigger air filter than my stock K&N filter, also I will buy a NV5600 and beef it up before installing it as well. That will about do it, IMO. LOL

I've already made a replica M4 fueling pin and its working well. Maybe a better cam and definitely 14mm head studs and o ring the head gasket setup.

I dont think you will like rowing gears in a 6 speed for racing. Not saying it can't be done tho

We have a killer deal on injectors for black friday weekend. 5x.014 or 5x.016 and a 63/65/14 so you can get spooled up fast would add about 80-100HP Check out our vendor section
