hello i know this topic has probably been brought up before but i need some input. i have an 05 2500 4x4 6spd manual with an edge juice cs model and K and N airfilter other than that its stock. my problem is when i first started running this my egts were fine and the truck barely emitted any smoke.but now my egts are higher and im seeing more smoke out of the exhaust. i have the egt probe in the exhaust manifold. besides changing the turbo what could i do to best help with the high egts? ( trying to find inexpensive ways to help with this at the moment until i can afford more expensive means)

 

how long are you talking that it was from the egts being fine to them being high? also how high do they get?

 

Filter clogged K&N not so good for diesels

 

it started about a month ago i could run the programmer on level 3-4 just fine but now i cant even run level 1 with out it blowing smoke and instantly jumping between 1400 and 1500 degrees. im going to try and change the fuel filter

 

Id check that first
