Wow, three different things being talked about in this thread. I think it's safe to assume that the original poster was talking about an intake horn in which case the AFE seems to be a good piece. I have the ATS Arc Flow which I really like.

I was reading a post on another forum where they tested 3 intake horns on an 04 3rd gen. They tested ATS, aFe, and CFM+ manifolds/air horns. I was surprised at how much additional power over stock they all made @1900 rpm.

ATS : 48.55 HP and 134.27 lb/ft of torque
aFe : 38.61HP and 106.75lb-ft of torque
CFM+ : 57.7HP and 159.53lb-ft of torque

*this was on a truck capable of 800+ rwhp so its hard to say what the numbers will be for a stock truck.

If it were me I would go with the one that looks the best since they all make pretty comparable numbers. If you like I can point you towards the discussion on the other forum.

I read that article and it sounded like mrginal gains on stock or lightly modded trucks. But it does open the door for more mods.

I read it as it wont do much of anything for your peak hp or torque but it will really pick things up down low. I would like to see this done with a stock/mild truck. Too bad they had to use the 800 hp play toy, makes it hard to tell what it would do on a normal truck.

We installed a Blade Runner and a S&B Intake on a truck the other day and with just the Edge Juice it seemed to spool the trubo quite a bit faster. The customer was very pleased.
