Default Looking for advice on programmer

I have a 04 that is bone stock. In the next few weeks my mbrp dual exhaust will be ordered as well as my cold air. Im looking for a programmer that will work best with this set up I searched around but picking through 500000 threads was getting tough to find somthing relating to my set up. I just want a few extra mpgs and some more black smoke . I just bought a house so i dont really have the money for a 4000 plus tranny

I really like edge products and my buddy has an 05 auto with it and his tranny is ok. Edge juice with either the CS or CTS monitor

If your towing alot we can assume you will not be bombing the bejesus out of it, so the stock exhaust and intake are more than adequate. You might consider a muffler upgrade, but again if towing much, be aware of possible unpleasant drone issues that might be resulting from your high-flow muffler choice.

Warnings about not affording a tranny upgrade and adding power to a Dodge diesel auto truck is like saying you want to go swimming but can't get wet.

I love the Smarty Jr. I got for the '07. Best money I spent on that truck so far.

I tow alot and tow everyday and the setup i run is just a 4" tb straight pipe,S&B CAI, and a smarty jr. My exhaust sticks out the side about 1" or a little more so i dont have a lot of in cab drone. Also i do not have an aftermarket tranny and she does just fine have 160k on it now but who's to say my tranny might not go tomorrow? All 3 of our trucks have stock trannys my 03 and dads 06 are running these setups and mine has 160k on it and his has 158k on it and our 04.5 is a manuel. But it seems to be good for us and we tow everyday all day.
