Default Southbend Clutches Or Equivalent....

I am going to be in the market for a new clutch in the upcoming weeks. I figured I would ask if anyone knew which clutch would be best....I am looking at the South Bend 3600 Dual Disk. I want one to last a while if I was to do some towing of a flatbed trailer as well as a cattle trailer loaded. Total weight +-15-20k. As well as maybe a one or two county fair pulls and light drag racing. I want something that isn't much harder than stock to push and isn't too grabby. I definitely am considering a dual disk because I may add a set of nozzles and a turbo. And if this is what I should be looking at, does anyone know the cheapest around? Thanks for the help in advance....

Well the best and cheapest dont come together and a DD will be stiffer, I think Haisley is the best.

What I mean by cheapest is what vendor or dealer of em would give the best deal? Or, should I just go through the company itself?

I don't know what to do. My daily driver went up in flames on Christmas day, and I mean literally. I was headed to pick my girlfriend up from work and go to a Xmas party and apparently an electrical short or gas line leak caused the whole front end of my 93 4runner to catch fire. I had no problems out of it up till then due to the fact that I had just purchased it and rebuilt the engine in late spring. I decided that if they were to total it, I would fix the slipping clutch in my "backup plan". They determined it "unrepairable" which sucks a$$ cuz I loved that thing. It was the first vehicle that I had ever spent that much time in and rebuilt the entire engine top to bottom by myself. Anyway, enough pity parade....I know the clutch I want but can't decide on the company or dealer which I could trust to treat me right. I have heard very good things about Southbend as well as Haisley. I think I may just spend tomorrow calling around checking prices. I need a clutch and would like to have a FASS system if I am gonna make it my daily driver. Who knows? Maybe I can find a dealer that will give me a deal on both. Thanks.

And by the way, I thought you had the black and orange truck?

We can definately do that for you, but the prices on the Fass 150 series are going up on the 1st so the order needs to be put in before then. On the Southbend, just shoot me an email or pm the part number you have decided on and I would be happy to work you up a package deal on both items.

I was actually gonna call you first when I was ready because I purchased the Pacbrake off of you. I was really pleased with that as well as the service. I think you all sent me a Christmas card or something almost a year after I had installed it. That really meant alot. Thank you. I am checking on my money situation and seein whats best right now. I know my clutch is about to take a major dump any time and I am draggin it out as long as possible. I will try to let ya know before the 1st.
