I just installed the Edge Juice with Attitude on my truck. I was wondering how much boost the stock turbo will handle? I got on it pretty hard in level 3 with the fuel turned to 5 and it hit 37 psi. in about five seconds after takeoff. I have the alarm set at 35 psi, and the egt set at 1250. I dont want to hurt anything, but I would like to be able to put my foot in it every once in a while.

 

You are already hitting the upper limits of what the stocker can do. I've hit 38 a few times, and some people push them to a little over 40, but IMO, after ~38 PSI, they are just blowing hot air. The high air temp negates the higher boost pressure and there isn't any HP gain.

 

highest ive hit is 42 psi, with a quad xzt. which in my opinion is a wee-but high.

 

my SMARTY on SW#5 will go up to 42 psi but then the wastgate will open and it fals back to about 38 psi.

 

is that with or without a boost fooler? i ran a smarty on sw#5 before and it would hit like 25-28. never touched 30 psi.... maybe it was the software loaded on it at the time

 

I have an 04 1/2 325 610 and i have the edge with juice and attitude montior. I also hit 42 max with it on 3 even 5 and full fueling setting on 5 too. Its a little high I think its palying with fire. But I do know it will drain a fuel rail. on the max settings. But the edge is great

 

w/o a boost fooler... I updated the latest software and my boost was back down to high 20's (I also didn;t like it as well) so I loaded the old version back on.
