would like to know what yall guys think is better for a cummins ppe or a smarty

i have a smarty i was going to trade a guy for a ppe tomorrow i just wanted to know what yall liked

On your year of truck I would say PPE a lot of guys have had better results with PPE on 2003-04 trucks. 05 and up smarty hands down. I know there was a good thread about this on CF.

i traded for the ppe should i have dodge clear the ecm before i put it on i have seen on some forums where it will mess the ecm up?

as long as you reloaded your stock ECM tune you should be fine
