Has anyone done the, drill the 1/8" elbow, wastegate mod? If so, what size hole did you drill and how much did it increase the boost.:pc:

I guess nobody has done this. I never heard of that before. An adjustable boost elbow is only a few bucks and will do the same thing......

Thanks for the reply Dodgezilla. I did see the elbow offered by TST but didn't think it was adjustable. Where can a fellow get an adjustable elbow?
Also, do you think 28 to 30 lbs will throw an over boost code?

I have made my own bost elbow if that is what you are reffering to,I drilled a 1/8" hole in the elbow then I drilled and tapped it for a bolt with a lock nut so it is fully adjustable,I see 30-32 psi of boost max with the stock turbo,I could adjust the bolt to see more boost but I'm already pushing the limits of the turbo

You won't get an overboost code as long as you keep running a fueling box. I ran my 03 with the elbow but no box a couple times and I had no problems. Lots of others did get the overboost code when they tried it. I think it's all in how you drive.....

I'm not sure I understand the whole bolt thing. I guess I'm thick. I thought you drilled a small hole in the elbow to release some of the pressure going to the gate.
I really like your idea though. Could you explain a little more about how and where. Maybe even a pic.
Thanks. Bobby

I made mine just like the one in this link, except I used a bolt with a jam nut so it's fully adjustable without worring about the set screw falling out
