Well, if you look in my sig you will see that I may know a little about 03 SOs. Your stock LP is a piece of crap so definitely think about upgrading that. You stock turbo is not too efficient either but if you plan on keeping it then you will also need an adjustable boost elbow which only runs around $15.00 on e-bay. If you want to hang with a newer truck that has been modded then you will need to open your wallet a bit further...

Your plan is not too bad but most of us know that it is very hard not to "enjoy" all the power that is available to you with these boxes and downloaders. That's when the trans problems will start........

Thanks for all the input. First and foremost my truck must be reliable, because my daily work and patcheck depend on it. maybe I better rethink this all.

Dodgezilla, thanks for the special info on the 03 SO's. If you can think of some other problems/cures for this model I am all ears. I probably otta sell it for a 2005 nahhhh I have grown attached to this truck

Looks like I will miss the special promotion on the air dogs. But curious what are the differences with the FASS? looking at getting the 95/100 gph kit not looking to support big hp #'s more for reliability / ease of install.

The AirDog is much smaller and has been re engineered to remove more air while increasing volume.

Thanks for the info DD.

from what I understand I can just hook the airdog kit into my stock system as long as it is the 100gph kit? anyone put one on a 03 so engine?
