Can anyone tell me when the efi live for a 2004.5 dodge cummins will be out or if there goin to make them for it?

it will be awhile before they release it for the 04.5. they are testing getting close to releasing the 06-07, then there gonna start testing the 6.7 trucks next, then the 04.5 and 05 then last is the 03-04

There was a nice write up in the latest Diesel Power mag. about efi live. It was a good read, very interesting.

i was under the impression it was already out for them. for the 06 up 5.9 and the 07.5 up 6.7. and that they were working on the tunes for the 03-05 non can-bus ecm trucks. i could be wrong but seems like ive seen some one in a post some where else that was for sale for the 5.9s can-bus based ecm.

I wonder what this is going to do for the Smarty if EFILive really takes off? Do I dare say bye bye to the Smarty?????????????????

i dont think so, alot of people dont want/need something as in depth as EFI

Agreed. Smarty goes a little bit more in depth then most programmers but no where near what EFI Live does. I'm sure there will be many people that just want the simplicity of smarty.

PPE is still a big player in the Duramax tuning world, its the Programmer I recommend if someones looking for plug-and-play, I dont think MADS will be affected too much
