Even if you don't send your tranny to Dave, call and talk to him or one of the folks at Goerend and let them know what you're doing (towing, racing, etc.) and how much power you plan to put to the tires. They'll set you up with the parts and you can take them to your local shop (if you have a good one) and get it done that way.
Easy as pie.

I cannot say anything negative about Suncoast or DTT because I have no experience with them. What I can say is that I have a Goerend Transmission in my 04.5 and believe that there could be no other company that could provide better customer service or a better quality product! As MarineOne indicated give Dave a call and at least talk with him. HONESTLY tell him what you will use the truck for and what your future plans are regarding power and usage and he will tell you exactly what you need, nothing more, nothing less. Then if you do decide to get a Goerend Transmission you can rest easy knowing that should anything happen to it you will receive some of the best Customer Service in the industry. That I know from personal experience!! PM me if you want more details.

When I had my 06 Cummins I went with Suncoast and it never gave me any problems and there customer service was great. It was a big junk of change but well worth it. I plan on doing business with them again in the future.

IIRC I paid like $5400 for my Suncoast.

I dont believe you can go wrong with any of them. I have heard nothing but good things about suncoasts customer service. I used DTT and have always heard great things about them. My personal experiences were not the greatest with customer service but that goes against everything else I have ever heard. Use whichever is closest or more convienent for you.
