i was thinking about deleting my muffler and cleaning out my cat. is that a bad idea? or would just a muffler delete be better?

I would just do a muffler delete if it were my truck but damn it's going to be loud. When I first bought my Cummins I straight piped it for a little while then I decided to put a muffler on it. And I'm sure my neighbors did not like it very much. I like the sound of a Aeroturbine 4040XL but that's just my opionion.

^^^^if you are referring to me, I don't have my cummins anymore. But here's a video of the 4040XL.

Thanks for the video post. Is there much of a drone in the cab? I'll probably ditch my magnaflow and go with that muffler.

It has a built in resonator, so it eliminates the drone.
