Smarty hands down for CR Dodge. The tunability of the smarty is second to none plus if you wanna go crazy with power stack an edge on top of that. The edge would be my second option. But you will make more power with a smarty

 

I used to run an Edge Juice w/ attitude. Now I run the Smarty. Smarty all the way. Fuel milage is better with the Smarty too.

 

x2 edge is killer on fuel, go with the smarty.

 

why not a ppe programmer. has any one tryed that one. ive been reading alot about that one and it says it gives more hp than anyone ive read about including the smarty.

 

I have the PPE programmer and i like it only three stages of adjustability is the downfall. I run PPE and my buddys run Smartys we all like our programmers.

 

Just set your damn truck on fire and there's all the black smoke you will ever need. This is the type of crap that gives people who drive diesel's a bad name, wanting nothing more than to throw out black smoke and look cool.

my vote is for smarty if all your interested in is smoke then the only way edge will do it is with the hot unlock, but the edges do tend to run hot egts though. but i would agree i kno alot of dudes that had the edge and got rid of um for the smarty because of issues they were having with them. the cummins do tend to run nicer with the Smarty IMO
