I am wanting to put some hid's in my truck to replace the regular h1 bulbs in the halo's so my question is what is the best brand to buy

 

do you have factory housings?

If not look and see if the aftermarket ones are labeled "not for use with HIDs"

i have had numerious aftermarket lenses that have that stamped on them or on a sticker on them labeled somehow. they get hotter physically than a standard bulb and can cause inferior plastic to melt, deform etc.

just a heads up, i had them in my stock housings and they worked great, i haven't used any in my other lenses, i don't want to risk damaging them.

 

well the projectors came with them in it but the ballast were bad and would flicker and turn on and off they worked for some time and then went to crap but i think they were a cheap brand i need something brighter than what i have
