Default Mag-Hytec front diff cover

I just recently installed my front diff cover and just noticed after my test run and fluid check. That the bracket that hold the steering stablizer just barely rubbed the diff cover.I was going to cut the bolts 1/4 inch and trim the plate.I cannot turn the bracket at all. Did anyone run into this problem?Or any different suggestions would be appreticed.
