Default What Stacks Good With....

the quad race box?
I just got it and installed it on lunch. (I'm like a little kid)
I was just wondering what goes good with it? I think I had way more power with my diablo sport and would like something that would add some power all around.
I'm beginning to think I should keep the diablo, stack a puck and run the commander
I haven't tried the race box from a stop and top speed yet but it doesn't feel like I got any bottom end like I was hoping. but on my ride home I will have it up over 55 so i will know more.
also I don't think it smokes as much as my diablo. which is another bummer

The Quad won't have the power the Diablo had off the line but top end power should be pretty good.
The Van Aaken C3.2 Duration box stacks well with the Quad but you need to watch your EGTs.

I saw a couple people running the diablo with the race box. should I keep the diablo and run it on tow?

You would have to send the Quad in to get the timing removed or your truck may run like crap. It will work well once the Quad is a pressure only box.

Was talking to Stan at Quad today. DiscountPowerParts is about to buy two Cummins trucks this week. He was telling us about this new product coming into beta...the Adrenalin. Supposedly it will be better and cheaper than a TST/Smarty stack. We are looking for a couple 05 trucks, and that Adrenalin wont be ready for a couple months.

just something to think about.....

Im not sure Im going to install the commander. The 100hp is perfect for me. I dont get on it hardly ever but I lkie the gas mileage. I should have just gotten the standard box. I really do miss the smoke though. . But I gained 1 mpg ove the predator tuner.
