Some folks who run water/meth, run it via their washer fluid reservoir. In my opinion, head studs and transmission upgrades should be looked at before any major power adder. Especially when you're talking about power adders that greatly increase cylinder pressures and drive pressure. Nitrous is the safest, no matter what the gasser crowd says.

If you run nitrous you need to run a higher injection pulse (duration).... It's incredibly safe as far as a diesel is concerned however to much will increase cylinder pressure greatly which could cause you problems.

The only thing about not running a DOT approved tank for propane would be... well, the DOT. If your pulling loads for hire then you know about being under more scrutiny than the general public. Maybe something to think about. . . .
