Default FASS Platnum finally installed!!!

Finally got my fass platinum installed today. It was easy as hell and only took 2 1/2 hours and i definatly noticed a difference. it just proved to me that my lift pump was on the way out. i got all of my low end back and when we primed the system to flush the junk if any out the pressure was unreal. also i noticed that it was not that noisy compared to the older systems. i will try to get some pics up soon so you guys can see it but i wish i would have done it a while ago. i also installed my S&B cold air kit with the dry filter setup and damn my turbo has never been this loud. it sounds good though. just thought i would let yall know. I have not been able to really see a mpg comparison yet but monday i have a 200 mile trip and i will figure it out and let yall know.

well so far it a pretty good improvement. i drove to the fire house this morning in blizzard like conditions 4 wheel drive 75 miles and my overhead was showing 22.9 although its usually off 1-2 mpg it has never been that high in the winter months. usually it runs around 18-20. so when i get back tomorrow morning i am gonna fill up and hand calculated the mileage, but one thing i definatly noticed is how much quieter and smoother my truck has been running these last couple days. so i would say so far so good

I just got my Air Dog installed this weekend and am waiting for a fitting for the VP I cant wait to get it completed to see what its going to do for me as well. This morning It was -7* and fired the truck up and took about 10-15 sec for my fuel press to come up (with the stocker) So really excited to see what happens with the Air Dog

k so i toped my fuel off after i got back tonight and WOW....it actually gained me 1.3 mpg but it is extremely cold here and was in 4X4 the whole trip both ways 175 miles so i know its not totally accurate but from my fuel gauge at just under 3/4 i think it made a pretty good difference so between the S&B and FASS i would say it was money well spent.
