Default WHAT SHOULD I DO??

i had a question about my truck i have an 06 dodge 2500 4x4 with an auto tranny with 41k miles on it as of now the truck is stock but my plans are to get a new exhaust, intake and either get a smarty or a juice with attitude. i know that the stock trannys arent the greatest my question is would i be better off keeping the tranny i have for awhile and then a new 48re from you goerend or buy a deeper pan, a new valve body and tourqe converter from goerend for the tranny that is in the truck now the advice would be greatly appreciated?

a stock dodge trans wont handle the smarty or the edge for very long. u can turn the settings down low, and keep it alive, but turning it up, could fry it fast. they TC and VB will hold the trans together for awhile longer. but it all boils down to money. if ya have the money to spare, its best to put a built trans in. if not, a tc and vb will last till u have the money.

the intake and exhaust is a good start, then a set of gauges. if u get the juice with attitude, it comes with gauges built into it, but if u get the smarty, u will need to get after market gauges. in my personal opion, i would get the smarty and a good set of gauges. good luck
