Default Bully Dog Outlook/triple dog

Hey, Is anyone running an Outlook monitor? If so, how do you like it. What was install like? I have ordered one and it should be here shortly.

I already have the Triple dog and have had it for a few days. I had the Edge EZ chip before, and I hate to say it, but I liked the chip better than the triple dog. It takes a long time to do a download. Maybe I will change my mind when the out look shows up

To install it, you have to download the tune, which takes from 3-15 mins to do, if you still have your triple dog plugged in when on the road (i dont have my outlook yet) you can change on the fly, but it is kinda a big and bulky unit and then there is a cord hanging from the obd2 port.

To do the updates on your computer, you have to put your truck back to stock, which is another couple of minutes to switch back, and then you plug the triple dog into your computer and takes a while to update. After taht is all said and done, you have to down load the program again into your truck, another 3-15 mins.

hmmmm.... that don't sound so good. I am using a Superchips right now - dad loaned me his to try - and it also takes a long time to change tunes like you described and I don't care for that.

I have the outlook monitor and it works rather well. it looks kinda cheap though how the screen sits. The only thing that i have noticed w mine is that when your change to a diff setting on the outlook sometimes it doesnt change and you have to go and change it again. Other than that it works well.

I was towing an 18 foot flat bed trailer (rated for 12,000) and towing cars today. I am really not impressed with the bully dog. I think I will go back to my Edge. The truck just doesnt seem to perform like it should with the light load I had.

I was in tow/economy setting, and had the truck was sluggish to get going, and would rev high, and not kick down.
