So recently as some of you may know I added 90hp injectors and a smarty to my truck...It hasn't been running right since. HIgh egts and bad fuel pressure (high/low) Engine bogs like a gasser at times.

So just for giggles I put my Superchips flashpaq back on and it seems to be running like a champ...Low egts, but fuel rail pressure at idle is 8-9k and on the gas its 14-16k at cruise its 19-21k.

I know that the flashpaq isn't made for a truck with mods, but it seems like its running great? anything I am missing?

other mods are aurora ats 3000 turbo, industrial injection 90hp injectors, afe CAI, afe intercooler, magnaflow turbo back exhaust, afe arcflow, ats manifold...

 

The chip isn't as aggressive at fueling as the Smarty So your still within your fuel systems capabilities.

 

what version of smarty you running? If Revo- what settings are you running?

 

The Flashpaq is relying on pressure to make the power and either not modifying duration or mildly tweaking it. The Smarty relies on a lot of duration to make the power and is a lot harder on the fuel supply than a pressure box.

Idle is a little high but its not gonna hurt you. Under power the pressure is even lower than it should be but high enough to make it run better without a lot of duration.

Runnign 19-21k for extended period is pushing the limit on what the injectors will take for an extended period. Would be much better if 17-19k was cruise but they seem to handle 19 or so if you keep the fuel clean and pressure up.
