Like stated above. I would alose look into an intake manifold, aftercooler upgrade and probly a cooling system mod for #5 & #6 cylinders. Also fore sure an after market fuel system like an airdog or fass im sure more will chime in on with will beter beter for you. i would even go so far as to upgrade the transcooler and add a remote trans filter as well. Maybe an engine oil cooler too but that may not be nececsery though. So far sounds like a good start. One more thing on the stack maybe a dr performance with the smarty or even a powermax cr. good luck with the build up!

What exactly are you wanting to get out of this truck? I mean, we can pull out the list up upgrades available for your truck, or we could look at what is a more intelligent move for your intended use.

Ok, I would do this -

Twins
Intercooler
90hp injectors
Smarty
Modded CP3 pump
FASS
Clutch for stick, billet upgrades for auto trans
Cam
Valve springs
ARP Head Studs

That there will get you plenty of power, and minimal concerns with EGTs and still maintain decent fuel economy. Short of the Cam, this is what I was running on my 2006 QC for 3 years. Towed 14k 5th wheel all over the western US.
With proper set up, this combo should easily put you in the 600-650hp range.
