mine was pretty tough to get the stack into the pipe also... i had to take a cresent wrench and tweak it a little bit to get the stack to slide in

I used a plasma cutter for mine. Worked real good. I actually made my hole a little oblong. With the width of the Y pipe, just a round hole does not let it sit down all the way. At least from my experience.

I have used hammer plairs little tourch to heat pipe but no luck

Wow. You must have a pretty hammered piece of pipe. I have had some from other suppliers that needed some work, but never that bad.

Honestly, I think we have an issue with the stack it self, along with the elbow. I talked to Shane yesterday, and I'm fixen to call him here shortly. Don't worry Shane, we'll get ya all fixed up...I'll bet my check on it.

Maybe run it to a local exhaust shop and get them to expand it a little bit more. Be the quickest fix... But I'm sure Cowboy will get you fixed up!

It looked fine untill it was time to go together but all good now.
