Some go with the Smarty JR. Has software that you can adjust the power level on the fly.

I put on an Edge Juice with Attitude monitor and another box for pressure and my Dodge runs like crazy- And my mileage is way up. We bought the truck in Texas and averaged 15 miles per gallon on way home and after all my add ons - we made a 2300 mile trip and made 25.2 mpg for the whole trip! We love our Cummins! BTW hand calculated only as the monitor above is junk -reads all over the place and does not give instant mpg like even my old New Yorker did so I could see how I'm driving. The Edge Attitude has a load meter and it is really fun to play with and that is where I figured I use less throttle at 70 mph than 65?? Got me baffled but I wont drive 65 anymore you can bet.

cant go wrong with any of the tuners as long as they aren't those ebay 200hp 30mpg ones . i use the tst and bullydog combo but really i think the tst would be plenty. all tuners are different some are better on low end some better on top. im not a smarty basher but my step dads 07 5.9 2500 could never touch my 04 5.9 will just the bullydog with out look. then i ran his smarty to see and my truck was much slower and got way worse fuel mileage. not saying bullydog is the best either. one chip that is up there is the TST powermax it was made by a retired cummins engineer i never had a one problem with it and it adds a lot of power 202 hp and 600 lbs tq. chips and tuners are gonna be a good upgrade no matter what just look and ask people around and see what the run you will be happy you have a cummins the tuners and chips just make them more fun

Was that 25.2mpg on your 06Mega or your 98.5 24V?? Also, what pressure box are you using and was that on fuel alone or propane injection added??

After reading your sig, I guess maybe you only have 98.5 TBE on your 06. Sorry about that..

Default 2 trucks

98.5 propane and Edge comp 22mpg - 06 Edge Juice with Attitude + Hot and the pressure box is one that I have available for $100 free shipping that was made for a major player (corporation) that backed out on their order due to the sagging economy. They must be sold un-named (copyright issues) but I will testify that the throttle response is instantaneous with the pressure box and the mileage is better too. I am running my own design (I am an engineer) propane kit that is based on vacuum draw at the sparge valve that has differing rates of propane injection. I really use it for the mileage but I will say this - with my two boxes and the propane - never been beat street racing -it is scarry fast - and this is a guy that used to have a dual quad 426 hemi roadrunner. And I better specify - the 06 is my wife's
