Default Rev limiter???

I have a 04.5, auto tans, with the Edge Juice w/ Attitude, intake and exhaust. When getting on it, it seems like I hit a wall at 3k rpm. Is this the rev limiter? If I remeber right, it dosent seem to affect 1st or 2nd, but in 3rd, it gets to 3k rpm and seems like its stuck there for awhile before it shifts.

that wouldnt be the rev limiter at 3k...too low of rpm for that

I would say yer Cummins is fully loaded and doin everything it can......in 3rd it just takes awhile to build to the next shift point

watch your tach and speedo both if it is sitting at 3K rpm but your speed is increasing then it would be your convertor

my girlfriend's (miss_un_glued on here) 2nd gen does the same thing, if your wanting to make it faster you could mystery switch it to manually lock the convertor
