I am looking to upgrade my mirrors and cannot decide which would be the better choice. Price is close enough that it doesn’t matter. My priorities are:
The need mirrors to work (no blind spots, good electrical control).
The mirrors need to look nice when folded in.
Does anybody have an opinion and experience using either of the two styles listed below:
**** EXTENDABLE MIRRORS - ELECTRIC ('98-'02 DODGE)-Dodge Cummins Diesel Truck Accessories – Geno’s Garage
DODGE RAM 2500 3500 02 HEAT HD POWER TOWING TOW MIRRORS
The clip on mirrors are wearing out.
thanks

the lower ones are the ones everyone is switch to but you can find a way better deal on ebay for them i paid $250 shipped for my heated power ones and there made by koolvue, the 98.5-02 will also fit on the 94-98.5 you just have to build a wireing harnes
I have a third gen with the same style as the lower one's. They work great for towing, and look great both out and in. IMO the first one's are fuggly, I would never put them on anything I own, but that is my opinion.
Agreed, the first ones are just purely ugly. I have the bottom set on my 97 and they work great. Got mine from my dodge dealer for 230 plus 100 install which was basically getting the power hooked up
