She needs a diesel period, she has a cavalier now.

 

Make the hole in the bed about a 1/4 larger then the biggest part of the y-pipe. This way you have no chance of a rattle, and will still look nice. Using a hole saw, and a scroll saw will help with a nice clean cut. TAKE YOUR TIME, maybe even find some cutting oil to use.

 

You can always tell her that the other hole is for drainage?

My dad and brother just put 3.5" miter cut stacks on his S-10 4cy 5spd. Dad has a hydrolic press that they used to cut the holes, perfect size and no sharp edges when finished. I will get some picts up soon.

I had just layed the first set and my buddy told me we needed to get a pic of that so I backed up and did it again. Wont be doint that again until this new trans breaks in a little though.
