03 intake baffle

03 intake baffle

I can't seem to find a good picture of where exactly to take a flat screwdriver to separate the baffles in my intake tube....I don't want to butcher the thing either.

Anyone?

i thought people replace the baffles with a piece of pipe

I've seen both, but would like the option to have it look stock for right now. Plus, I hear the metal tube can be quite loud.....might not want it that loud.

Believe there is a seam, and that's where you split it in half. Remove the baffles, and glue the halves back together.

i think on the bottom(turbo side) split the seam connecting where the clamp goes to rest of the tube and it should just fall apart. might have to split seams on both ends not sure though
