Where to go from here?
I have Started building up my first diesel 2006 Dodge 2500 4x4. I have installed a banks six gun with speed loader, Banks Cold Air intake, 5" turbo back Magnaflow dual exhaust. I dont know where to go next I hear i need either the PDA or some type of guages to monitor functions, but should i start upgrading transmission, turbo, fuel pump, ect. like i said i am new to the Diesel world. I have plans to put a 3" carli suspension lift on within the next month. I want it to be Depedable and not have to worry about taking long trips or playing with it.

Banks really isnt the best choice but if it fits your needs there's nothing wrong with it.
A set of gauges would probably give a more "custom" look. There's also a product out from edge and quadzilla thats a standalone monitor.
What are your goals for the truck? What's the trucks main uses?

I do mostly all highway driving i do like to take it off road if the need arises but overall i want a good driving truck without worring about breaking something everytime i jump into it to take a trip somewhere. I choose the banks six gun do to all the safty features in it and not knowing alot about diesels i didnt want something i needed to watch constantly for trouble thats whay i was thinkingabout getting the PDA. I love my Banks so far i have had it on for a few thousand miles so far and no trouble but i only run it in level 2-4 due to dont want to hurt transmission, turbo, ect. by the way this is a great site looking forward to building a great truck wit you guys

Banks has no failsafe in place on the b+ in and G sides of their boxes. Maybe things have changed but I've seen more damage done with banks than alot of the high horse programmers and boxes. 2nd gen trucks with the otto mind went through a phase of eating VP-44's Directly related to the otto mind.
I'll word this softly but as many of the other vendors on this site will tell you,
We're getting emails and letters from wholesalers explaining why banks isnt available through them. Keystone just dropped the banks line...Why? No customer support, No knowledge base for current products. The ONLY reason their still in the diesel biz is the name "BANKS".....
Hate to disagree and make everyone mad....But banks is the biggest joke, and their products are the biggest piles of junk of anything I've ever seen!
