I ran 315x70r17s on the factory alloys...they fit and wore just fine.

I believe when we measured them, they were either just shy of 8 inches or just over 8 inches wide...

No problem - we run 37" Toyo MTs on the 17" factory alloys... heck, we run 38" MTs on our '98's 16"ers.

Steve, did you need a coil spacer to run the 315s?

No spacers, stock suspension...only had a very minor rub at full lock, backing up (must move the tire in the rim enough to contact the control arm). It did not rub driving forward...

33x12.50s on my stock wheels on my albium on db sitting on the field rode good wore good
