Crazy Larry is a pretty powerful program. I've seen many guys make good power with it, but just like every other power adder, you have to have the proper modifications in order for it to work efficiently. I don't know if there is truth behind that being the reason for them pulling it, so can't add any info there.

well im new to this bully dog world. I bought a power pup downloader and im looking for the crazy lary. I cant get it off the site, or so i think. Can anyone help me. I updated it and there is no option for cl. what did i do wrong...

 

Crazy Larry is no longer available unless you find a used programmer with Larry already on it......Its your only option

 

not true, as long as you have the file, you can take a newer programmer back to the older files

 

Not to get too far off subject but can anyone tell me what the difference is between the senator larry 2.4D 2.4CT scarry larry and pedifile larry is? Ohh and forrest is dead on. All you need is either WINRAR or WINZIP the WINRAR worked better for me and thats it just follow the on screen directions. Dont know if it was just mine or not but i had to return the truck to stock for it to work. Final note the links at the beginning of the thread work great and you can get a free trial of WINRAR, just gotta download it.

 

my brother has it and he blew his tranny with it but he was planing on getting a performance tranny when he got it any way he got it on ebay brand new from a guy that still has the file its a realy powerful chip he can spin his semi tires no problem with it but i was wondering what the actual hp rating is on the crazy larry setting and also if you know what the hp rating is on the performance setting is to that would be nice to know also

 

crazy larry was wrote for dmax and cummins, it will not work for a powerstroke. All the other tunes are wrote for a cummins.

pressure larry, i assume you are talking about pedipohile larry because that is the one with added pressure.

The tunes on my site have been hacked into and should back date the new version, if not all you have to do is go to bully dogs site, download there newest version, halfway thru the download unplug the triple dog, and then plug it back in re download the newest version but this time let it run all the way thru the download this will unlock the progrommer sort of speak and then let you put any file on it that you want.

the epa did not tell them to pull it, but the epa had a big influence on them to pull it. They pulled it on there on accord becasue they are going away from the performance tuning and getting more into just every day driver tuning.

if you have a normal power pup it will not work, it has to be the triple dog one. When you put crazy larry on, it will not give you the crazy larry setting, it is just extreme. When you plug your programmer in the start up screen should tell you what version you have if it is crazy larry it will say that on the screen.

some of the files are rar and some are zip winrar does both winzip i think only does zip files. I have seen it different for alot of people there are alot of things to try if you have problems. I have tried to find out the difference for years and there is not much info about them, i talk to buddy all the time still but i am not going to bother him with bully dog questions since he does not work there any more. But scary larry is crazy larry with torque management taking out, phediphile larry is scarry with added pressure. 2.4d was the original crazy larry, the others are betas, 2.4ct is a file wrote for the ct performance race truck, not sure the difference. seems most like senator larry the most it seems to be between scary and phediphile.

crazy larry rating for a dmax was 230 hp, that was based off an lb7, but was actually alittle high, the crazy larry for dodge was rated for 180hp. Also when comparing smart to bully dog, you can not compare tnt to crazy larry, you need to compare the bigger files to the smarty tnt, you will have better results. most think crazy larry is the most powerful version but there are more above that. As most know smartys run better on some trucks, and bully dog runs better on some trucks you need to try both and all versions of both of them to find out which one works best for you because every truck is different.
