Hello, I am a new member, although I have been reading the posts on and off for a long time. I have a 2006 Mega somewhat custom inside, but all stock under the hood. My better half had me promise no mods until after 55K warranty. I have 56K now! I tow a small boat >5K once in a while, and put the bike in the bed sometimes. Mostly it is daddys toy.
This is the plan:
True Flow Xtreme Duty Intake
TF-30707 03-07 Dodge 5.9L Cummins True Flow Xtreme Duty Intake
Air Dog 100 Fuel Air Seperation System
Air Dog 100 Fuel Air Seperation System for 04.5-up Dodge 5.9L Cummins
Bully Dog 40420 Triple Dog GT
Bully Dog 40420 Triple Dog GT Diesel for Dodge, Ford & GM
Rapid Flow Dual Exhaust Rear

I would like to hear opinions

Id would do Mechanical Gauges ( Isspro, Autometer, DiPricol )

Airdog 150 ( same price as 100 )

Smarty or Smarty Jr. If you want adjust on the Fly then Smarty POD

Looks at MBRP or Expandit Dual Exhaust Kits

DiPricols are great but they have been on National back order for like 2 months.

Are the mechanical gauges better than the digital style. I'm running the Edge Insight and am wondering if my displayed data is inaccurate.

I have been wondering the same thing. I think the stock guages are electronic with an analog display not mechanical. Why would go with mechanical? I agree with the Air Dog 150 over the 100 for the same price, however is it possibile to have too large of a pump? Next if I do not need to adjust on the fly, is there some other reason not to go with the Bullydog? Also, can you point me to a good place to compair all of the dual exhaust systems? (price and ease of install) I have read that some systems require the spair tire to be removed or moved to the bed. Thanks guys this discussion is very helpful.
