2'in Leveling Kit/Spacer Install
#11
Ive installed many lifts on dodges and most of the time just disconnecting the sway bar will get you what you need. I never had to disconnect the trac bar.
a little trick if you have a Hi-lift jack and tow hooks.
jack the truck up and put jack stands under the axle and remove the wheels. unbolt the sway bar links, shocks bolts on shock tower.
run a strap or chain to the tow hooks then jack in the center with the hi lift jack until you can get the spacers in there. usually this will work for 3-6" coils and spacers. anything more and its a crap shoot.

I used to use these Hi lift jacks for everything, until the one day. Jack slid sideways out from under a trailer, smacked me in the head and I was out for the count. Don't know how long I laid there till I woke up, drove to the hospital and got the staples put in. That thing went in the scrap metal pile the next day. NEVER AGAIN.

I jacked mine up and would go low enough to get the springs out?? Sooo I had to go down to checker and rent a spring compressor.. It was free but man it saved a lot of cussing.. Took me 2 hours to do the passenger side and the driver's only took 30 minutes!! Really easy just remember to mark each item that you remove so it goes back into it's original spot!!
