Default Transgo shift kit

Ok so I just got the shift kit put. I was thinking that it would make it smoother shifting and eliminate the shuttle shift at light throttle. Well the shifts are hard, don't slip as much though, and the shuttle is worse? Does all this sound right?

Sounds like you have something else going on and the shift kit just enhanced the problem.

Oh crap don't say that. Ok so if I get a valve body and torque converter, should I get my kinda smooth but strong shifts back with not much slip. Usually I ride in stock unless I'm playing also.

Your truck will be a totally different beast with a TC and VB upgrade.

Are they smooth after getting that stuff done or hard secure shifts? I wanna get rid of the retarted shuttle shift crap. I still like driving easy in traffic. But I want smooth also without slippin. Am I asking too much?

Suncoast can setup the shifts the way you want them.

Oh ok so it's not too impossible. I went down there to a dynobday once and it's pretty nice place. Just hate how far away. Well ok thanks. Guess I need to check into a real upgrade for the trans. Jeff Garmon had some nice prices. Might go back to his place and talk with him
