Default Get power for monitor from battery

I need to hook the power wire from my outlook monitor that's currently into fuse 28 I think straight to the battery. The tech guy said hook it up through a fuse though. Well how do I do that?

Run a small piece of wire from the battery into a fuse block, then out of the fuse block into the monitor. Should only need a 5 amp fuse.

Thanks for your help. Worked great but monitor still not right. Helped me eliminate some other spots though. Thanks
