Default Aftermarket Turbo

do all turbos throw a cel? My super b did all the time. Underboost and stuff. Now that I've got the replacement back, I really don't want it back on if I gotta limp around everywhere.

We havent had any trouble out of the HTT stuff doing it. If it still does it just put in a aftermarket boost fooler.

I ran a HT for about 17 months and toward the end it tossed three under boost codes at me. Stuck a stock one back on in Oct. and hasn't done it since.

I got quadzilla. I put stock back on a couple months ago and not a single cel. With super b for the 5+ months it was on, prob atleast 50-100 cel. Some days it not throw any. Even weeks. Then it would be everyday. And always when I really needed it towing. It's depressing trying to tow in limp mode cause of underboost. BD sent me another turbo, I want to put it on, but have lost faith. Just don't want all the mess like the 2 before. I've never seen more boost than the stocker can spit out. 38 max with other super b's I've tried. I know this turbo is supposed to be awesom, but I'm just having trouble believing it

I understand that I know I have had problems in the Past when it comes to the Electronics Department.

Did you install the wastegate fooler that should have come with the turbo? Usually I only see an underboost code with twins under just the right conditions. I have not seen one with a Super B Single.

You are only getting 38 psi? Sounds kinda low for a CR with a Bully Dog. I wonder if your map sensor is giving you trouble.

I was only getting 38max. Mostly like 30-35. But since putting on stock I can hold 40 all day long. And not the first CEL. I had the wastegate fooled and boost fooler hooked up like supposed to. I pressure tested my last super b and squirted everything down with soapy water, and the only bubbles came from the backside of the turbo itself. Sent it back to bd and they didn't find any problems with it of course. But somereason they sent me a new one. Must not like admitting their faults... Ivegot thenew one in thebix but kinda lost faith with turbos which is why I'm trying to sale the new one nstead of trying to put it back on and go through the same mess as before.

I get them all the time with my Htt, but then again I use no boost fooler just the smarty with little to no mp-8 tuning. I also only get it about 40 or 44psi. You may want to try another boost fooler maybe its the problem.
