So, if you still have warranty its covered? And if not you have to pay for it?

boy im not happy. i bought mt truck on oct 30, i am putting new tires on it this week and needed a spair so i checked if a ford rim i had would fit, (hits the caliper) anyway a have noticed a high pitched squeek and wile i had the tire off i noiticed my pads were down to metal, funny since i bought it oct 30 , and sales guy said they put new brakes on. and a could shake the front wheele back and forth at least 1/2 '' and could see the drag link and everything move , loose parts. took it to the dealer yesterday with parts list in hand, service guy was supprised , they told me they would look at the front end to see what was loose , they put brakes on it and never looked at anything else ,told me it was done . i noticed my warrentry ends tomorrow , so did they. think there trying to screw me??????? its a dealer warrentry not a factory one. on my way now to take it back.

thanks for info , didnt feel so helpless

tell them at over 55 it wobbles horribly when a bump is hit and you wouldnt suggest they trying to get it to do it as they will be paying for a new truck instead of just some tie rods as it is dangerously violent

I have noticed lately, that when I back up and turn either way, the front tires feel like they are bumping something. (The very same feeling as if the truck is in 4 wheel drive and you turn going forward.)
Is this possibly a symptom of the same problem you had?

nope you probably have a bad ujoint. jack the front up and turn the wheels one way and spin one wheel. if nothing spin the other side. itf the ujoinst are bad it will straighten out the wheels.

or what I had that drove me nutz one time was a dented steerring dampener that made it steer hard at one point
