Default PPE Xcelerator + Boost Fooler???

Is anyone running the PPE tuner with their 06 CR?? I have this tuner and was wondering if adding the Quadzilla Boost Fooler would cause any problems. Will the Boost Fooler keep boost under 48 psi??? I'd rather not have head gasket problems, but I like the idea of lower EGTs.

i have a boost fooler on my 99, i know its a different animal, i also have a superchips programmer on it it didnt really notice much other than the fact that it will not defuel at 2700 rpms anymore it will go right up and over 3k rpm, i think the CR's rev higher not real sure though. your programmer probably does some boost fooling but it probably still defuels at what ever it was stock from the factory, and it also will keep your truck from throwin an over boost code. it shouldnt go over 48 psi if you havent messed with your waste gate. how much boost are you gettin now??

Not sure what I'm doing at the moment......I don't have a boost gauge yet. I just bought the truck last week. Intake is on, plus nerf bars tomorrow. PPE tuner is set at #2 (845ftlbs claimed). I'd love to lower egts, but not if reliability will suffer.

i guess you could just get it its only what 80 bucks, it wont hurt the reliability but you should definately get a good set of guages to keep an eye on stuff. Boost, EGT, and fuel pressure or tranny temp if its an auto, someone else will chime in here and maybe give ya little more insight on it.
