Default Sudden loss of power

07 CTD with 4500kms on it now.
My truck will sit probably a week at a time before I drive it, any how I went to town the other night and noticed a (seat of the pants) power loss.
This power loss is right from low end to top end.
Any suggestions would be appreciated THANKS

No I haven't done the first service on it yet.

Fuel filter is always the first and easiest to try, but with 4500 miles, I would think that would be a long shot. I know those new ones don't smoke, but did you get any good black stuff when you stepped on it?

4500Kms = 2800 miles...... i hit the thanks button on accident..... i'd get the dealer to look at it if i were you..... it should be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty..... unless you did get a bad batch of fuel.....

there is a remote probability of your fuel system sucking air somewhere...

how did you get it going again?

try filing up your tank and see if that changes anything....
these are strickly guesses but when my 04's fuel tank gets below a half of a tank, mine does suck air from the fuel pick-up straw in the tank.... hope to fix it someday.....

Heath do you think if it was sucking air there would be more of a hesitation at wot??

This is just a sudden loss of power, no hesitation or smoke just no guts!!

Turbo? That would make it drive like a terd. Just too new for these things to be a problem. I agree, a trip to the shop, although I hate going there even if it is warranty work. Ours seems to either not know what going on or fix something that doesn't need fixing
As for air, I would think it wouldn't run much at all??
