I can't even fathom any exhaust shop around here being able to bend 6" pipe, most of them can't even do 5", you have to take it to the truck stop, 6" would probably be the same way. 6" is sewer pipe! And it usually sounds the way a sewer pipe smells...

I just changed from a 4" dual to a 5" with 6" miters, and love the way it sounds, but I am running a mufler on mine.

6" exhaust bent, is expensive. As mentioned above, 6" under the truck is really not needed. Most of the heavy duty trucks on the road now only have 4 or 5" on them anyways. The exhaust usually goes bigger after a muffler or something.

I was just wondering. I miss the turbo sound out my 4" duals like my 5" had. But I'm gonna straight pipe it to see if any of the turbo sound comes back. I just figured the turbo sound from a 6" would sound great.

The duals split the high frequency noises, and they all but disappear. Singles let the high frequencies spit right out. My 4" exhaust with a silverline muffler to 6" mitre's sounds nice.

I used to have a 5" into dual 4" and now I've got 6"DP into dual 6" stacks (straight) and I love it. It sounds like a big rig. If a 5" isn't loud enough, you'll love the 6" setup.
You're probably gonna lose some low end and MPG judging from your sig w/ the 6" though
