So I'm just wondering if anyone has ever even tried for higher than 500 hp with a catalytic converter or if someone knows of a success story of doing so. The set up would include a stock cat modified for 4" or bigger, fte resonator, and muffler behind a set of compounds, 100hp injectors, and efi live. For higher hp I could add a diverter around the cat and possibly resonater if needed. But my real goal here is to hit higher horspower as quietly as possible (for good road manners and that sleeper effect) but without playing with fire on my egts. The resonator and muffler are going to be a part of the mix reguardless but if I can use a cat too that would be ideal.
