Default Aftermarket clutch noise

I bought my first Cummins this week. After owning a 6.0 for several years I love the simplicity of it. It's a 2006 with the 6 speed manual. It was purchased at auction so I have no history. It has a loud rattle when in neutral and the clutch is out. I took it to three shops today. Two were general auto repair and one was a diesel performance shop. The two general repair guys listened to it and wanted to schedule an appointment to pull the tranny for 400 - 600 minimum to inspect it but the performance shop said it sounds just like an aftermarket clutch. After watching some videos I'm pretty sure they are correct. The only thing that has me wondering is the noise occurs when I'm rolling up to a stop light and kick it in neutral as well but it kind of comes and goes and a slightly different sound than when sitting still idling. Is it normal for an aftermarket clutch to make noise when rolling with the clutch out?

Thanks
Mike

A dual disk clutch will make different sounds and chatter depending on if the clutch is engaged or not. Is the hydraulic line a braided ss line?
