Default New to Bombers and Programmers continued

Hello... First, thank you in advance for all the help. This site has a lot of information. I'm looking for a little advise and some direction. I have a 2006 Cummins 4x4, that is bone stock except for an aftermarket 4" MBRP exhaust system. I'm looking to buy a tuner/programmer and I'm looking at a EFI Live or Edge. My questions... My apologizes, I know this topic is everywhere but I would like to know which one is the best bang for the buck? I'm looking for is a fuel mileage, towing and performance gain. I will not be doing power launches. Can someone also tell me someone in the middle Tennessee area that deals with Cummins? I have read where the EFI live for example has 6 what I call generic tunes. I'm looking for a place that has done the research and offer me custom tunes. After the tune I will invest further in the transmission. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

From personal experience with the Edge, EFI Live, and H&S. I would have to say H&S or EFI Live. Edge tunes usually run hot and do not perform as well as the others that I mentioned. Like Flyingdutcman said everyone who starts with Edge ends up with selling it for something better. If you plan on leaving the truck stock and you want a monitor instead of analog gauges, I recommend H&S Mini Maxx all the way and spend the extra $99 for the trans tune you will need it. Also, on the 60hp H&S tune with my only other mods at the time being exhaust and slightly bigger tires (295s) my truck got 23.5mpg at 74mph. Let us know what you decide and good luck with your build.
