Default New truck help

Hello all, I just bought my first cummins and have few questions..... Truck currently only has a program on it and unsure what it is, straight pipe 5", lift kit.

1) Trucks previous owner had bully dog chip in it and I am unsure what it is set at and what model it was, is there any way that I can find this information out?? Can I buy a version of EDGE and use this to override the system or should I take it to the dealer to have the computer flashed back to stock. The programmer was taken out of the vehicle but I think the program may still be in the truck due to fact that I am running about 28-32 psi on turbo when I get into it and truck really should be pushing around 24-28 from what I hear. And will this cause long term problems with the truck??

2) If I decide to go with a whicked wheel for my turbo is the 5" straight going to cause any problems, and should I go with a bigger or smaller exhaust???

New to diesels so trying to make this vehicle run right and not destroy a truck before I have time to enjoy it...
