Default Intake

i have an 06 2500 4x4 i have done the exhaust and now want to do a intake manifold and wondering which is best im looking at bd, banks high ram, afe, and cfm plus and does this help much over stock

They are all pretty evenly matched IMO. I run a CFM+. You will not see any significant power increase, maybe a drop in egts. Really not a worth while mod unless you are running large amounts of air.

thanks H.R.D. ill just spend my money on something else do u have any suggestions other than a programmer ive already strated the smarty jr fund

the cfm is the way to go and if your looking for something else maybe a volant intake the ram air is pretty sweet i wish they made the ram air for my second gen. And i would go with the efi live on a crd cummins alot more potencial i think

Have you done an air intake yet? If not, look into the S&B one or Volant.

Also not really a fun factor but gauges are a vital part of any diesel. I recommend a Boost, Pyrometer, Tranny Temp if you have an auto, a fuel pressure, and rail pressure gauge.

yeah when i bought the truck it already had an air raid quick fit cai with the modular intake tube

not yet wanting to do the pillar with like u said trans boost and egt
