Well 2 years and 60k mi. later, I decided to saw off the cat, replacing it w/ a chunk of flex pipe. My cruising egt's dropped 150 deg. and they drop faster when I let off the throttle. Exhaust had a deeper drone, almost sounds like it's straight piped. That's the good news. Bad news is fuel went up to $4.25. Gas is at $3.20.

Probably help your fuel mileage a tiny bit too. You'll need all you can get.
