My wife is a new diesel believer.....I finally got her a 2005 VW Passat TDI wagon. (Don't laugh, this little wagon flies) Anyway, Since it was MY turn to get a new ride, I chose an 06 Megacab 4X4. I bought it used, and the dealer threw in a new PPE tuner. After testing the truck on level 3, I put it back to level 2 for the ride home. Wifey and I played cat and mouse most of the way home. We switched vehicles at a rest area in the Oregon Coast Mountains. She pulled out first and settled in at 70mph. I was behind about 1/4 mile when we started up a long 4 lane hill. Out of nowhere, 2 kids in a Duramax whizzed by me at about 90 and started gaining on the wife. Just as they reached the drivers door of the Mega Cab, I saw a huge puff of smoke, and the wife pulled away from the Duramax like his E-Brake was stuck on. Now she wants to know when we can chip the Passat. God, I love her.

Naaaaaaaaa. I hear the new models have smaller "rear ends" that can't handle all this torque
